live that transformed life.
WHY SHOULD I BE BAPTIZED?
...Because you've decided to follow Jesus and you want to share this new life-changing decision with the people in your life and with your church.
...Because it is a powerful symbol of what Jesus has done for us. As we go underwater it reminds us that Christ's death on the cross was the payment for our sins. As we rise up out of the water, we're reminded that Jesus rose from the dead. It symbolizes that we are a new creation — the old is gone and the new has come!
...Because Jesus was baptized and instructed us to do likewise. Jesus demonstrated the importance of baptism, as he led by example and taught all believers in Him to do the same.
